Bally Sports North: Tripleheader plans, channel assignments for spring sports

MINNEAPOLIS — Bally Sports North (rebranding from FOX Sports North) announced plans Friday to cover several Minnesota pro sports tripleheaders scheduled to take place in April and May.

With the Minnesota Twins, Timberwolves and Wild all playing throughout the spring, Bally Sports will be utilizing three channels – Bally Sports North, Bally Sports North PLUS and Bally Sports Extra on The CW Twin Cities. All games, as well as pre and postgame coverage will also stream exclusively on the regional sports network’s digital platforms.

Bally Sports North and Bally Sports North PLUS will be found on regular channel lineups, with Bally Sports Extra on The CW – Twin Cities, found on channel 23.1 over-the-air, channel 808 on Comcast and channel 23 on DirecTV in in Twin Cities metro or 668-2 in the non-metro. Bally Sports and The CW Twin Cities are part of the Sinclair Broadcast Group family of networks.
